Unforgettable Events to End Colorectal Cancer
The Blue Hope Bash
Blue Hope Bash events are part of a premier fundraising series of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. These events occur in cities across the country and align a nation of passionate allies together for inspirational gatherings to honor patients and survivors and remember those lost to colorectal cancer —all while raising funds to end colorectal cancer within our lifetime.
Blue Hope Bashes are organized by dedicated volunteers local to the host city, with the exception of the Blue Hope Bash in Washington, DC, which is organized by Alliance staff. For more information and sponsorship opportunities, contact Phoebe Stringer by email.
The Bash and COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way that people are able to gather together for events — even those that support the vital work of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
The health, safety, and well-being of every patient, caregiver, volunteer, ally, and staff member is our top priority. As such, all events will adhere to CDC safety guidelines and the recommendations of local jurisdictions. Up-to-date event information will be available on each Blue Hope Bash city’s individual webpage.

October 29, 2022
As the largest Blue Hope Bash in the country, the event has raised nearly $10 million by bringing out the Washington region’s most generous allies for an evening imbued in blue and a strong belief that we can end this disease.
The fourth annual Blue Hope Bash will be opening at the East Event Centre this Fall!

Bring a Bash to Your City
Transform your passion into purpose! If you are ready to make a significant impact to support the colorectal cancer community and help raise funds to end this disease, we want to work with you.
Each Bash leader will work with an Alliance staff member to help create the vision and plan for the event, but ultimately a Blue Hope Bash can not be successful without a group of dedicated allies!
What does it take to make the Bash a smash?
Are you collaborative and ready to help lead a committee of volunteers?
Do you have time to devote to planning an event?
Do you have a network of people you can engage? Or do you know people who do?
If that sounds like you, and you would like more information about hosting a Blue Hope Bash event, please contact Adina Frazier by email or call (202) 207-0256.
