BIT BUTTS, an irreverent NFT drop that pairs META-X Studios and hip hop legend Sir Mix-A-Lot, is set to raise awareness and funding for the mission to end colorectal cancer.
Meta-X, the Metaverse-native development home to NFTs, blockchain games, and film and television projects, has named the Colorectal Cancer Alliance as the non-profit beneficiary of sales from the BIT BUTTS NFT project. The Alliance will receive a percentage of each sale for its programs to screen, care, and cure.
The limited collection of BIT BUTTS features hand-made digital derrières created by world-class animation artists. Sir Mix-A-Lot, who once proudly announced to the world that "he likes big butts, and he cannot lie,” has personally designed the rarest NFTs in the collection.
"We are honored that META-X Studios has chosen to support the Alliance and a cause that touches millions of lives — the mission is to end colorectal cancer through preventive screenings and cutting-edge treatment,” said Michael Sapienza, CEO of the Alliance. “BIT BUTTS will start conversations, heighten awareness of this disease, and support programs for patients that will save lives."
