Angie Lawry

Angie Lawry is an experienced marketing and communications executive with a demonstrated history of working in the nonprofit sector. She is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, where she oversees all messaging around the Alliance’s mission to provide support for patients and families, caregivers, and survivors; to raise awareness of preventive measures; and inspire efforts to fund critical research.
 

Prior to joining the Alliance, Angie was the vice president of marketing and communications at The
Philanthropy Roundtable, where she was responsible for the Roundtable’s integrated communications strategy, focused on engaging America’s leading philanthropists and marketing the organization’s world-class publications, events and programmatic resources. Angie’s career in the non-profit sector began in economic development, where she served as the director of strategic marketing for the Greater Washington Initiative, and as the vice president of community relations for the Charlotte Regional Partnership in North Carolina.
 

Angie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an honors degree in behavioral science and received a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she earned the Dean Allen Reep Scholarship for Academic Excellence. She is also a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum – Charlotte Chapter.
 

Angie was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has been married to her husband, Tracy, since 1999. They have a son, Hunter, and reside in Silver Spring, Maryland.
