I want to share my father’s story with the world.
Education on colon cancer was always something my father pushed for. He was an advocate for screening and research and tried his hardest to become his own doctor. I have been blessed to share his story through his own words and outlook through this self-made video. I started documenting my father's stage IV colon cancer journey in May 2013 and little did we know five months later, on September 16th, he would pass. This documentary is difficult for me and my family to share, but I am grateful to share it. Although this disease is painful and deadly for many patients and family members, it strengthened our family and showed us the most important things in life.
I hope this documentary will educate and encourage you to donate so we can contribute pushing the envelope on colon cancer research and screening opportunities. Join me in honoring my father by watching this video or donating today.
