The 8th Annual Cookies4Chris Luncheon
The 8th Annual Cookies4Chris Luncheon and Vendor Show was held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at South Hills Country Club. The Colorectal Cancer Alliance hosted the event. Cookies4Chris was born to honor Chris Sapienza, a Pittsburgh native who lost her battle with the disease, a lover of both cookies and baking. By combining the Pittsburgh Cookie Table, a quintessential sign of Pittsburgh hospitality with a spectacular display of Basket Raffle and Silent Auction items and a delightful afternoon of shopping with unique local vendors, Cookies4Chris has landed at the forefront of fast growing fundraisers in the fight against colorectal cancer.
Over $200,000 raised
Over the past 7 years, Cookies4Chris has raised over $200,000 to further colorectal cancer research and awareness, and more importantly, through its education and encouragement efforts, has saved lives.
The success of Cookies4Chris is a testament to the hard work of many volunteers and community/corporate supporters.
