Are you looking for a meaningful job? Do you want to use your knowledge and experience with technology and data to help save lives and positively impact those in need? Then join the Colorectal Cancer Alliance team as our next Technology Specialist!
The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to ending colorectal cancer within our lifetime. We help patients, families, survivors, and caregivers navigate diagnosis and treatment options, connect them with those who can share experiences and knowledge, and identify resources to meet their needs. In addition, we partner with healthcare professionals and social influencers to raise awareness of preventative screening, and we collaborate with researchers to better understand the disease and fund critical research. Our efforts are urgent, effective, and efficient because we believe that tomorrow can't wait.
The Alliance must be a leader in the nonprofit technology space to reach our ambitious goals. This includes developing our own platforms for patients and caregivers built on best-of-class open-source technologies and using well-established tools to support the technology needs of our staff to ensure they can be most effective in helping patients, raising money, and empowering volunteers. Finally, the Data Intelligence and Technology team is responsible for protecting our donor and patient data while supporting our organization as it uses this information.
To support this important work, we are hiring a technology specialist responsible for a wide variety of tasks supporting technology and staff. Some goals the successful applicant will need to achieve during the first year include:
- Answer all internal customer support tickets within one working day.
- Create and run Salesforce reports reducing the number of reports created by our external Salesforce vendor by 50%.
- Develop a process by the end of Q3 to ensure all organizational dashboards and project management backlogs are updated weekly.
- Provide high quality support to staff to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software technical issues to ensure “good” or “great” ratings in the staff evaluation of the DI&T department’s customer service.
- Provide research report on new products or technologies within one week of report request.
It is not an understatement to say this position will be part of a team responsible for saving thousands of lives and improving countless more. With 1.4 million people in the US living with colorectal cancer, we have urgency to hire someone who can deliver results immediately. If you believe you have the experience and ability to achieve these goals successfully, we'd like to hear from you! Interested candidates may apply by emailing a cover letter and resume to email@example.com. Please include "Technology Specialist" in the subject of the email.
