The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to ending colorectal cancer within our lifetime. We help patients, families, survivors, and caregivers navigate diagnosis and treatment options, connect them with those who can share experiences and knowledge, and identify resources to meet their needs. We partner with healthcare professionals and social influencers to raise awareness of preventative screening, and we collaborate with researchers to better understand the disease and fund critical research. Our efforts are urgent, effective, and efficient because we believe that tomorrow can’t wait.
To reach our ambitious goals, the Alliance has identified fostering and securing partnerships with potential new key accounts as a foundational growth engine to fulfillment of its commitment to accelerating revenue and impact. We have established a significant reputation in colorectal cancer advocacy built on our respected relationships with healthcare systems, partners, and donors. We are challenged to leverage our aggressive growth strategy with our entrepreneurial approach and spirit to influence and gain strong interest with not yet invested partners and companies. We will be planning and implementing new programs, initiatives, pilots, and world-class digital systems that support our three pillars of Screen, Care, and Cure. The Alliance is also committed to scaling the impact of all its programs through existing reach into communities, especially those communities facing health inequities in access to colorectal screening, diagnoses, and care. We believe that creating meaningful partnerships with healthcare, community, government, and for-profit organizations is essential to our overarching goal of saving lives. The Alliance has created the new position of Key Accounts Strategist to support the CEO and CDO in colorectal cancer related analysis, statistical data, presentations, and financial asks from high potential key accounts to ensure an accelerated growth stream for the organization.
Some goals the successful applicant will need to achieve over the course of the first year include:
- Successful in creating and executing presentations for significant high revenue potential accounts, supporting the CEO and Executive Team in understanding, and articulating the value proposition in the most appealing manner to the company and/or account.
- Take ownership of understanding the colorectal cancer programmatic efforts of the Alliance and of other cancer organizations to be able to provide insight and supporting data that could influence future efforts.
- Take the lead in the landscape analysis of the potential account(s) that would be the strongest partners for the Alliance to connect with.
- Find and understand the statistics and trends of the connection between funds requested and desired impact for a specific need(s) in our programs and initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with each department and pillar team leaders at the Alliance to be an informed and well-versed representative to the potential donors and companies we are seeking to foster a financial partnership with.
- Develop a system and process for the creation and distribution of quarterly reports and data insights to support the Executive Team in progressing in the growth strategy of the organization.

This position can be based in either the Alliance’s Washington, DC headquarters or be fully remote.
Some travel is required for this position based on the needs of the Alliance.
