Director of Screening

Are you looking for a meaningful job? Do you want to use your leadership and strategic skills to focus on innovative ways to make preventive screenings available to help save lives and make a positive impact on those in need? Then come join the Colorectal Cancer Alliance team as our next Director of Screening!

The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to ending colorectal cancer within our lifetime. We help patients, families, survivors, and caregivers navigate diagnosis and treatment options, connect them with those who can share experiences and knowledge, and identify resources to meet their needs. We partner with healthcare professionals and social influencers to raise awareness of preventative screening, and we collaborate with researchers to better understand the disease and fund critical research. Our efforts are urgent, effective, and efficient because we believe that tomorrow can’t wait.

To reach our ambitious goals, the Alliance has identified colorectal cancer screenings as the most important tool in the Prevention and Early Detection strategy. We have built a digital navigation tool and continue to optimize it in conjunction with screening pilots and collaboration with partners across the cancer and healthcare community, pharma/bio tech industry, as well as with consumer products companies. The Alliance is focused on effectively scaling the impact of its programs for sustainability and revenue generation, including among populations facing disparities in access and health outcomes related to colorectal screening, diagnoses, and care. We believe that creating meaningful partnerships with healthcare, community, government, and for-profit organizations is essential to our goal to save lives. The Alliance is seeking an innovative, strategic leader for its Prevention Pillar to ensure a sustained focus on navigation to screening pilots.

Key components of the Screening Director’s role are:

  • Assist the VP, Prevention, and other members of the Executive Team in the development of Prevention Pillar strategy and success metrics, in support of enterprise goals to save 100,000 lives through prevention and screening by 2029.
  • Support VP of Prevention in sales strategy and content/deck development for presentations to secure funding.
  • Successfully lead and execute projects assigned within the Prevention Pillar that support the organization Commitment Plan goals and pillar success metrics, including but not limited to management of the Alliance digital and live navigation to screening platform (including the Quiz, UX and content development), up to 10 navigation to screening pilots simultaneously (including Cycles of Impact), collaboration with Data Intelligence &Technology re navigation roadmap and health tech consultant to develop monetizable assets for partners.
  • Manage and develop direct reports re project management, risk identification and strategy.
  • Serve as a resource to other members of the staff for screening-related information and subject matter expertise.

It is not an understatement to say this position will be part of a team responsible for saving thousands of lives and improving countless more. With 1.4 million people in the US living with colorectal cancer, we have urgency to hire someone who can deliver results immediately. If you believe you have the experiences and ability to successfully achieve these goals, we’d like to hear from you!
