We're here to tell you that your wait is up – you can kick some colon cancer booty by living your best life, and this blog is your answer!
The formula is simple. Looking for healthy-living tips? We've got them. Stories of hope? Check. Ways to get involved? Always. Tips from the experts? Absolutely. We're launching the official Colon Cancer Alliance Blog with a decisive mission: to help you make sense of all the info on the Internet and in the news so you can use it to live better. And through the tools and tips we bring you here, you’ll be able to do just that.
We know what it's like to be in your shoes because we're patients, survivors, caregivers and advocates, too. That's why we're going to keep it simple with lists, pictures and stuff that’s easy to read and understand (hello, chemo brain!).
As an organization, our vision is for a world free of colon cancer where education, early detection and treatment lead to survivorship for all. We’re determined to knock colon cancer out of the top three cancer killers, and we’re doing this by emphasizing prevention, cutting-edge research and high-quality patient support services.
This blog will not only help move the dial forward in these vital areas, but is a place you can turn to for support, too. Let’s continue to connect, share stories, and provide resources that are helpful and informative so no one is being held down by this disease.
