EVERY YEAR, MORE THAN 130,000 NEW CASES OF COLORECTAL CANCER ARE REPORTED.
FROM OUR CEO
Our commitment to cancer prevention, cutting-edge research, and providing quality patient support services drives everything we do. We understand the complexities and evolution of colorectal cancer and 2016 saw the formation of the world’s largest colorectal cancer organization through our merger with the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation.
Colorectal cancer claims nearly 50,000 lives per year. In the ever-shifting rollercoaster that is today’s current events, our community needs this united voice now more than ever.
Over the past year, we have been hard at work defining who we are and how we can mobilize our collective vision to end colon cancer within our lifetime. Some of our top successes include raising nearly $800K from our Blue Hope Bash, providing nearly $300K in cutting edge research, hosting the leading late-stage colorectal cancer symposium nationwide, and positively impacting over 1.5 million
survivors and families.
As we move forward into 2017 we will empower a national community of advocates to work with us to offer support for patients, survivors, and their families, raise awareness of preventative measures, and inspire efforts to fund critical research. We are committed to supporting over 100,000 patients, investing nearly $400K in research, and saving close to 1,000 lives.
We know that our progress is a result of the generosity from supporters, volunteers, and partners. Thank you for your support. We couldn’t do this without you.

MERGER & FINANCIALS
Setting the Standard for Financial Stewardship
increase in revenue
net increase in operations since 2015
decrease in operational expenses
out of every $1 goes towards programs
Prior to January 2016, the Colon Cancer Alliance ran on a fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. With the merger of the Colon Cancer Alliance with the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation effective January 1, 2016, the organization switched from a fiscal year to a calendar year budget. With guidance from financial professionals and the Board of Directors, the Colon Cancer Alliance will be performing a 18 month audit starting July 1, 2015 ending December 31, 2016 and will have completed audited financials for that entire period. This is in accordance with best accounting practices in instances of merger and fiscal year changes.
We believe colon cancer is a senseless killer that must be stopped.
That is why we’re focused on empowering a nation of passionate advocates who work with us to offer genuine support for patients and survivors, raise awareness of preventative measures, and inspire efforts to fund critical research. United in our fierce determination to dramatically impact the way society sees this devastating disease, we exist to end colon cancer once and for all.
