National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month: March 2019

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This month, we’re inviting you to join the Colorectal Cancer Alliance as we work to end colorectal cancer in our lifetime! Did you know that colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer? It’s also one of the most treatable if caught early.

Don’t ASSume is the Colorectal Cancer Alliance’s 2019 National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month public awareness campaign. Our goal is to challenge assumptions and misconceptions about colorectal cancer by dispelling myths, raising awareness, and connecting people across the country with information and support.

We have resources you can share with your networks to encourage more education on colorectal cancer. Use the messages below to encourage your network to visit the Colorectal Cancer Alliance website to learn more about colorectal cancer prevention, screening, treatment and patient support; and ways to join the Alliance in the fight against colorectal cancer. Please be sure to tag the Alliance in your social media posts.
