Prescription Drug Assistance Programs
In order to improve patient access to drugs, several pharmaceutical companies have established drug assistance programs. See below for details on programs that provide assistance with common drugs used in the treatment of colorectal cancer.
AMGEN - Vectibix
Amgen Oncology Assistance: 1-800-272-9376
In conjunction with the recent FDA approval of Vectibix (panitumumab), Amgen announced a new program, Amgen Oncology Assistance (AOA), to assist patients who are uninsured, underinsured or unable to afford their insurance copayments. Another way Amgen is improving access to care is the Vectibix Cap that will limit total patient copayments regardless of insurance or income.
