About Me:
My goal is to teach as many people as possible about the importance of recognizing the signs and symptoms of colon cancer. In patients under the age of 50 colon cancer can easily be misdiagnosed. I was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in January of 2004 at age 41. YES--colon cancer effects people under the age of 50. Understanding the signs and symptoms and talking frankly with your doctor could save your life. I hope you will join me in helping save lives by educating El Paso about colon cancer and how easily it can be prevented. - Tina Aguilar, Coordinator of Voices of El Paso
