About Me:
My dad never even saw it coming. He went to doctors for pain on his side, but no one ever recommended screening for colon cancer. By the time he was diagnosed, it was too late. Maybe, just maybe, by raising awareness, and getting more people screened, fewer people have to suffer like my dad and my family. -Ana Padilla, Coordinator of Voices of Northern New Mexico
