About Me:
My sister was fourth generation in my family to die of colon cancer. She was only 28 years old. The oncologist was able to get the insurance to approve the gene testing. I know that I am positive for the MLH 1 gene, which means I have an 80% chance of developing colon cancer. I want the public to be aware that it is hereditary, that it can happen to females and at an early age. - Rian Hahn, Coordinator of Voices of Central Indiana
