2010 Tampa Seminar Highlights

Thank you to everyone who made the 2010 Tampa Conversations about Colorectal Cancer seminar a great success! 153 people registered for the seminar presented in partnership with Moffitt Cancer Center on Saturday, March 13, 2010.
A panel of exceptional and accomplished doctors spoke about advances in the treatment of colon cancer. Moffitt’s leading healthcare professionals presented information on oncology, radiation oncology, surgery and interventional radiology.
An additional session was added to the Tampa seminar about incorporating nutrition before, during and after cancer treatment. Many participants were especially interested in this presentation. “I'm very happy to see a nutritionist added to the panel,” said one attendee.
After a panel questions and answers session with the speakers, attendees ate a delicious buffet lunch while participating in a breakout session – peer-to-peer support forums for survivors and caregivers.
