Miles for a Cause: Mike’s Team

After Mike was diagnosed with colon cancer, he and his wife Emily and friend Brian were determined to form a team and raise funds and awareness about this disease. They decided to run the Santa Cruz Half Marathon & 10K, and although Mike was still undergoing treatment at the time of the race, he and the rest of Mike’s Team all successfully finished. With the support of friends and family, Mike’s Team surpassed their fundraising goal and raised an impressive $3,540 to support CCA programs and services.
