Magill's Donates to CCA Every Week
Magill's restaurant in Pasco, Washington, has been hit hard by colon cancer. Co-owners Marty and Darren Martin were both diagnosed with colon cancer in 2007. Marty was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in May and just six weeks later Darren was diagnosed with stage I colon cancer. Despite going through surgery and chemotherapy, the two brothers opened Magill's in March 2008. Just two months later, at the age of 46, Marty lost his courageous battle with colon cancer. Younger brother Darren continues to live cancer free and honors his brother Marty every Tuesday, by donating a percentage of all sales earned to the Colon Cancer Alliance to increase awareness of this preventable disease.
