The 2012 Dress in Blue Day fundraising will support the CCA’s Blue Note Fund program. The Blue Note Fund program gives a one-time grant of $300 to colon cancer patients struggling to meet their financial obligations.

While other financial assistance programs might be specifically for co-pays or drug assistance, the Blue Note Fund allows the patient to use the grant money in the way that helps them the most.  Some patients need help with housing, utilities and even groceries and the flexibility of the Blue Note Fund helps meet those basic needs. We like to say the Blue Note Fund provides hope to families who desperately need it.
