• Donate your Facebook status to the Dress in Blue Day program by using our sample Facebook posts or spread the word through Twitter using our sample tweets.

• Feature the Dress in Blue Day program on your website or blog. Use the Dress in Blue Day program web banner or logos.

• Talk with your family to learn your family health history. It could save a loved one’s life or yours! Use our Family Health Tree.

• Wear blue in March by ordering "Ask Me Why I'm Blue" buttons or bracelets.

• Download the Dress in Blue Day program flyers or order posters and distribute around your community in places such as:
• your favorite restaurant, salon, dry cleaner, gym, etc.
• your local health clinic, doctor’s office, cancer center and pharmacy
• around your apartment complex or in your community’s club house
• Contact your local radio station and ask them to run the Dress in Blue Day PSA. You could even offer to be interviewed!

• Send your local newspaper or television station the Dress in Blue Day media alert or press release to promote your event. Be sure to add your event to the CCA’s Blue Star Calendar.

• Work with the governor and/or mayor's office to issue a proclamation officially designating your community's participation in the Dress in Blue Day program. Use our proclamation templates.

• Hold a Dress in Blue Day program educational event using our Colon Cancer Awareness Speaker Kit. Be sure to add your event to the CCA’s Blue Star Calendar.

• Donate 15 seconds of your voicemail to colon cancer awareness by using our voicemail script.

• Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper using our sample letter.
